About Me

Dear Reader,

My name is Patricia Lamker, I am 25 years old and originally from Germany. With a dream of the ocean and a passion for science, I moved to the Netherlands six years ago to study Coastal and Marine Management. During my studies, I quickly realized that although great people are doing great research and are working on important projects, most of it gets lots in how it is communicated.

Throughout my bachelor’s, I learned to understand the needs of different types of people and stakeholders and how to find ways to bring them together through clear, empathetic communication. Over time I developed a deep passion for helping clients connect with their target audiences in a quick, meaningful way.

After finishing my bachelor’s, I took time to reflect on my future and realized that I wanted to understand not only how to communicate effectively, but aslo why certain content resonates. This has led me to pursue the Master’s in Content & Media Strategy at the NHL Stenden, where I learned exactly how to make the connection between what a client can give and what their target audience wants to receive. I not only learned how to give research-based adviced, I learned how to translate that advice into actionable, measurable outcomes.

During my journey I have had the opportunity to work an a diverse range of projects that reflect both my analytical and creative side. I am excited to share some of thses with you in this portfolio.
