Design Projects
Rob's Tuincentrum has been working with me since 2022 on several projects, mainly focused on design. Their requests have included a range of designs and products, such as posters, flyers, boards, ads, and more.
Biodiversity Section
My client, Rob's Tuincentrum, asked me to create eight designs for the biodiversity section of the garden store. The section featured different plants, each supporting a specific aspect of biodiversity. The client needed eight round signs to hang above each section.
I chose a pastel color palette, as it not only created a positive association with the themes but also complemented elements of the existing setup from the previous year.
Disco Christmas Theme 2025
During Christmas times the biodiversity section is transformed into a "Christmas world", with a new theme every year. The walls inside each theme need to be updated every year.
In 2022, I designed an industrial-style wall. The following year, a Frisian Christmas poem was printed in the style of old parchment. In 2024, the industrial background was reused for the magical theme.
The project I want to highlight, as it involved the most work and thereby best demonstrates my skills, is the 2025 theme of Disco Christmas. For this theme, the client provided a visional reference of his vision. The background had to feature dancing people, and the client insisted on including pink, purple, blue and yellow which made this design especially challenging. Additionally, he asked for a cardboard cutout to be used for customers to take photos with.
Flyers
For every Christmas theme, I created a matching invitation for the garden store's special offers night. The client had clear and specific expectations, which I followed closely to ensure their vision was met. The final results fully aligned with their expectations and received very positive feedback. For the magical ice queen theme, the invitation was printed as a postcard, featuring a picture side and a text side.
